Belper Town v Frickley Athletic - 13/12/14
The Blues face a trip to bottom side Belper Town on Saturday looking to build on Tuesday evening's Sheffield & Hallamshire Senior Cup win over Hemsworth MW and put more points between themselves and the bottom four in the table.
While the Blues were beating Hemsworth on Tuesday evening Belper were losing 6-0 to Gresley in the Derbyshire Senior Cup but but previous to that they had come within seconds of winning at Trafford only to be denied by an injury time equaliser for the home side. Their last League home win was at the end of October but, impressively, it was against high-flying Curzon Ashton who they defeated 2-0.
Belper have a few former Blues' players amongst their ranks with Mark Ward currently player/assistant manager whilst Glyn Cotton and Ashley Burbeary are also amongst their ranks.
For the Blues' part Karl Rose will be without midfielder Matt Young who serves a one-match suspension for accumulating 5 bookings.
